• Seattle 10/23

Last week I popped down to Seattle, Washington for a couple days. I grabbed a last minute train after scoring tickets to the screening of Laggies. Walking around the streets downtown was wonderful. Every time I am in the city I discover something new, and this time was no exception. Here are some shots from my weekend trip, enjoy!

  • Steveston, Richmond

Steveston is an adorable little town in British Columbia. A friend and I went down to check out the exteriors to the show Once Upon a Time, but stayed for the cute shops and beautiful view.

  • Once Upon a Time in Steveston

Once Upon a Time is set in small town Maine, but is actually filmed in a small town in British Columbia. When I found out how close “Storybrooke” is to my house, I decided to check out the exterior set in the town of Stevenston. The town is adorable, and it was neat to walk along the streets after seeing the show. The back room of Mr. Gold’s Pawnshop is an amazing vintage store, that I will definitely be returning to. I have more photos from the day in the town which I will post over the next couple days.

Although we did find our way into Nordstrom Rack, where I got a Marc Jacobs coat for 140 bucks, 200 dollars less then the regular price – unreal. Anyway, here are some photos of the stunning buildings, enjoy!

  • Portland

When my parents came into town last week, we took a quick trip down to Portland. The city was a lot different then I was expecting, but it was too short a trip to really get a feel of the town. The buildings were higher, and there were roads and bridges high above the water. It felt more boxed in, crowded and removed from nature. The architecture is stunning, all the old buildings and stone streets were beautiful and the transit system is incredible. We had just enough time to explore the depths of Powells, drink too much beer at a Brewery and get lost in the wrong part of…

  • Battle of the Brush Grand Finale Part Two!

I am thrilled to be working with the team at Golden Brush Art. Every year they hold a live art painting competition called Battle of the Brush and their Grand Finale did not disappoint. The theme was Fairy Tales, and while all stayed within the realm of Disney movies, the paintings were distinct and beautiful.
