• Beach Day

After touring UBC we ventured over to Pacific Spirit Regional Park, on the outskirts of the university. It is so wonderful to be able to walk from the school into nature within a half hour. We didn’t explore too much of the park, but the part we did was spectacular. Everything is covered in a bright green moss, and mushrooms are cropping up near most of the streams. • University of British Columbia

On Monday, a friend and I went to the University of British Columbia. We originally intended to stroll through Pacific Spirit Regional Park (we did at the end of the day), but ended up walking across the massive campus. UBC is beautiful, old buildings sandwiched between new glass buildings, interesting structures and stunning sights. It has been warm and sunny in Vancouver, perfect conditions for great photos.
