Secrets of A Good Girl/Shubenacadie Park
I have started writing for a new blog called Secrets of a Good Girl. Here I will be doing fashion posts and movie and television scoop. My friend Phil and I had a trip to Shubenacadie Park in Dartmouth planned for Sunday. We packed a picnic, grabbed two other friends and headed out on our bikes. “The year was 2081, and everybody was finally equal.” This breathtakingly simple line comes from the beginning of Kurt Vonnegut’s “Harrison Bergeron.” The story is about the equalizing of the world. Transforming a place of unique faces and body types, of intelligence and ignorance, into a world where everyone is finally the same. Bay of Fundy/Wisdom Teeth
I have officially lost my wisdom…teeth. Bad joke I know but I do have two T3’s and an advil coursing through my system. This weekend I had my wisdom teeth surgery and have spent the last couple days with large cheeks, eating lots of pudding and watching Dance Moms with my mother. Before my surgery, I was invited on a spontaneous trip to St. Martins, New Brunswick. By spontaneous, I mean me and my roommate were at a bar and were asked to go at midnight Tuesday – we left at ten the next day.
