Bay of Fundy/Wisdom Teeth

I have officially lost my wisdom…teeth. Bad joke I know but I do have two T3’s and an advil coursing through my system. This weekend I had my wisdom teeth surgery and have spent the last couple days with large cheeks, eating lots of pudding and watching Dance Moms with my mother.

Before my surgery, I was invited on a spontaneous trip to St. Martins, New Brunswick. By spontaneous, I mean me and my roommate were at a bar and were asked to go at midnight Tuesday – we left at ten the next day.

The Bay of Fundy is one of Canada’s wonders and has the highest tidal range in the world. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. As we hiked down a waterfall and up cliff faces, my friend Lauren and I could only say ‘This is so beautiful!’

The trip was incredible. I met some amazing new people, stayed in a haunted house and got to go to New Brunswick. My tour of the Maritimes – which has come way too late in my time here – is almost complete. Newfoundland in July, to see a good friend and celebrate George Street Festival, then Prince Edward Island sometime this summer.

It is going to be sad when I have to return to Ontario in a couple months but I am so glad to be able to explore this beautiful country. I cannot recommend the Maritimes enough. Grab a car and a couple friends and road trip across Canada. There is so much beauty here, you will not regret it.
